I WANT TO BE PART

For reasons beyond our control, we have been forced to move on average every 2.5 years, which has meant an emotional and financial burden for the church,

since each place must be prepared for its purpose. Instability translates into constant uncertainty in the church and in pastoral leadership. How to plan for the future without knowing where we will be in the next two years? Should we invest money in a necessary but transitory adaptation? How to work with neighbors without knowing if we will be forced to leave work halfway? Instability has also caused the absence of some brothers and sisters, particularly those of advanced age who, due to their health conditions, cannot travel every time we change location. Faced with this situation, as a church we began to pray and work together for the acquisition of “A Fold for the flock”.

This idea, contemplated long ago, was not possible for us due to the high cost of properties in Sabaneta. However, The Lord has been faithful in encouraging us, putting in the hearts of brothers and sisters inside and outside the church the need and potential that having a proper headquarters for the mission of proclaiming the gospel will mean.
By the grace of God, we are a financially stable church, but an effort of this magnitude is beyond our capacity. It is for this reason that We would like to ask you to join us so that together we can make this dream of having a fold for this flock in Sabaneta, Antioquia, south of Medellín, Colombia possible.

Cada cambio de sede ha significado una importante inversión en adecuaciones del sitio para cumplir con la misión de la iglesia. Queremos adecuar un auditorio que nos permita reunir alrededor de 650 personas, y construir salones y oficinas para el Discipulado, la Escuela Bíblica de niños y el Instituto Bíblico.

Actualmente el centro trabaja principalmente para asesorar a la iglesia y responder a las solicitudes de pastores y hermanos o hermanas de otras congregaciones. Sin embargo, queremos extender el Centro de Consejería a la ciudad como un medio de evangelismo y servicio comunitario. . Contamos con 30 consejeros bíblicos debidamente capacitados. Están dispuestos a llevar el evangelio a nuestros vecinos con consejería bíblica. En el pasado hemos servido a la ciudad en coordinación con el gobierno local, capacitando a padres de familia de escuelas públicas; queremos seguir sirviendo a nuestra ciudad y esta forma de trabajar con las familias es una oportunidad para presentar el evangelio.

Una de las bendiciones que el Señor nos ha dado es la formación bíblica. Actualmente hemos capacitado a más de mil personas en todo el país en Consejería Bíblica. También diseñamos y ejecutamos un programa de acompañamiento a pastores que avanzan hacia un modelo de iglesia más saludable. Actualmente acompañamos a un grupo de 40 Pastores en el territorio nacional, a quienes brindamos capacitación, compañerismo y asesoría ministerial. Es nuestro deseo extender y formalizar la formación de Ancianos y Diáconos que establecimos como iglesia local para ayudar a otras congregaciones en la formación de sus ministros, además de servir en el entrenamiento de plantadores de iglesias. En el 2020 plantamos una nueva iglesia en las afueras de la ciudad, y queremos, bajo la dirección del Señor seguir haciéndolo con pastores capacitados y aprobados.
